Fundraisers

We have a variety of fundraisers throughout the year that provide different opportunities to raise money for the school. Some of them are even free and involve very little effort but result in big contributions to our children’s educational experience.

Scrip

SCRIP is the name for the gift certificates and gift cards that Reed PTA buys at a discount. When you buy them from the PTA at face value Reed makes a profit. Use them like cash to pay for everyday purchases: groceries, clothes, gas, gifts, restaurant meals and more. It’s easy and doesn’t cost you any extra. You get dollar-for-dollar value.

Order forms come home in the newsletter and are available in the office, or at the SCRIP table (in front of the cafeteria, near the office). Please make checks payable to Reed PTA. You can purchase cards after Monday announcements.

e-Scrip

E-Scrip is a fantastic resource for fundraising. You register any or all of your existing grocery loyalty, debit and credit cards and participating businesses will make contributions to our school. You can even track your own qualifying purchases to see how much you are earning for Reed. Sign up here today.

Once you have signed up your cards you may also check the website for local participating merchants as well as shop the online mall. This way you will make the most of your purchases.

Box Tops

Box Tops for Education is another easy fundraiser for our school. Simply clip the Boxtop symbols from participating products and turn them in to the school office. Twice a year we have contests and the classes with the most box tops turned in win a special prize.

Dinner Night Out

Dinner Night Out events are scheduled on Tuesdays once a month during most months of the school year. On these nights a pre-selected restaurant donates 15-20% of your bill back to Reed Elementary. All you have to do is go out to eat and bring your flyer. Your children will love seeing their friends and teachers and you will be earning money for our school. The location of our DNO events are announced in advance and posted in our newsletter, on Konstella and on Facebook.
